We founded the Black Olive out of a deep love for real food, for food that is fresh, healthy, and authentic. We only use real ingredients. Farm fresh eggs, fresh tomatoes, fresh fish, and locally sourced meats. We strive to make each and every dish a wholesome expression of our love for food, life, and living. 

The Black Olive was born in 2021 as an Italian restaurant located in Madison, Indiana. We have now opened our second location in Louisville, Ky. Our idea has blossomed into 2 thriving restaurants, with indoor and outdoor seating, room for families, parties and even crowds. (Yes, we do catering...just ask us!)  We welcome you to our restaurant, and wish you a hearty appetite.
